Popular modes of transportation for tourists are buses, taxis or you can rent a car and there are well known companies such as Avis and Hertz located there. Buses are the cheapest way to get around. While taking a taxi, visitors are advised to take those in designated taxi ramps or with reputable companies as opposed to hailing one on the street. This is for your safety. If you want to experience the nightlife during your Cancun vacation, it has numerous clubs, bars and pubs and the Cancun Hotel Zone is a popular partying area. You can find all-night clubs that offer entertainment such as bikini contests, circus type and other kinds of different entertainment and this is amidst the drinking and dancing that goes on. The legal drinking age is 18 years old. These types of clubs are raucous and attract the hardcore party lover with the night ending at six in the morning. If you want a quieter drink, there are numerous bars and these close at 1 am.
